Having learnt what is possible through his own experience of growing up in a corrugated iron shack and starting his work life as a teenager working in a kitchen scullery, he has dedicated himself to empowering the township communities he calls home, by creating local jobs, and assisting enthusiastic locals in driving the townships forward and away from their apartheid history. Every Imzu Tour, whether on foot or by bicycle, highlights the humming lifestyle and pride that runs through the townships of Langa and Khayelitsha, showcasing what is possible.
