40 Minutes drive to the start of segment 1 (Soufriere to Scott's Head) hike. Scott's head is a fishing village on the southwest coast of Dominica. The trail hike involves coastal dry forest hiking, along with hike between active and abandon estate lands of coconut, mangoes, and also estate roads. On the hike countless scenic views of the coast which make up the Marine reserve, you're sure to be captivate to stop and enjoy. Soufriere is the end of Segment No.: 1, also are fishing village, one of the first plantation to be established in Dominica my the European, it was the French which grew coffee and later limes were grown.
Optionally after 20 minutes drive from Soufriere we arrive at Champagne Beach and Snorkeling reef, the you will have the option of going snorkeling or relaxing on the beach. Champagne reef is just south of Roseau or North of Soufriere and has health reef full of tropical fishes. famous also for the bubble releases from volcanic from deep within the earth or sea bed.
Spa is located 3 minutes walk way for accommodation therefore you have the option of enjoying the Spa for the End of Day Spa Pool Bath before dinner

40 minutes drive to return to the end of segment 1/start of segment 2. start of at segment 2 in the Soufriere Village and hike to Bellevue Community. The hike of segment 2 is a mix of dry forest, rainforest and cloud forest trail hiking, however, along the route part of the segment go through farm land, and along the roads for short sections.
