The Aviemore Ring Cairn and Stone Circle is a 4,000-year-old Bronze Age burial site located surprisingly within a modern residential housing estate. It is a Clava-type cairn, featuring remnants of a central cairn, an inner kerb, and a surrounding circle of megaliths, with some stones surviving in their original positions.
The Cairngorm Reindeer Herd is Britain’s only free-ranging herd of reindeer found in the Cairngorm mountains in Scotland. These tame and friendly animals are a joy to all who come and see them. Reindeer are not just for Christmas!
