    Driving through the National Park en route to Aviemore you have the choice to stop in Aviemore or visit one of the nearby lochs; Loch an Eilean or Loch Morlich and perhaps spot a red squirrel.

    The Aviemore Ring Cairn and Stone Circle is a 4,000-year-old Bronze Age burial site located surprisingly within a modern residential housing estate. It is a Clava-type cairn, featuring remnants of a central cairn, an inner kerb, and a surrounding circle of megaliths, with some stones surviving in their original positions.
