Barcelona was since Roman times a lively city thanks to fertile soils and a natural harbour, as most of Mediterranean territories. Even today we may follow the trace of the first streets at the old town, developed originally by Romans and extended in Middle Ages when it became capital city for the Aragon Crown. Our Reinaissance though was during 1800' with Art Nouveau and industrialisation. The old town is now a place full of history preserving traditions, but welcoming modern trendy projects.
We visit the main sites in Gothic Quarter and and finish at Palau Guell.
