    Nizwa Souq Nizwa is a former capital of the Sultanate and the birthplace of Islam in Oman. Its traditions are deep and will be felt during a visit to the old market where Omani handicrafts, sweets and spices are sold among many other items. It is particularly famous for its Friday cattle market with lively goat auction.

    Jebel Akhdar

    Jebel Al Akhdar Akhdar means Green in Arabic and by driving up the mountain with fruit and vegetable gardens on the man-made terraces built on the side of the mountain, it is easy to understand why it is given this appropriate name. After several jaw dropping viewpoints, we take a beautiful walk along the edge of the mountain with stunning views over the deep valley, garden plantations and abandoned villages.

    Birkat Al Mouz Ruins

    Birkat Al Mouz A beautiful settlement oasis which lies at the foothills of the great Jebel Al Akhdar mountain. We will make a short walk between ruined traditional mud and clay structures around abandoned old village of Sal Saybani through lush banana and date plantations, examine ancient Falaj Al Khatmeen water delivery system recognized by UNESCO World Heritage for Omani contribution to agricultural development.
