During World War II, thousands of Jewish refugees, Allied pilots, and resistance fighters fled Nazi-occupied Europe, seeking sanctuary beyond the Pyrenees. The mountain trails became lifelines—harsh, remote, and treacherous, but vital paths to freedom.
On this private expedition, we’ll follow sections of these authentic routes and explore mountain passes, and historic wartime sites. You’ll learn how escapees survived, where they found shelter, how locals helped them, and what fate awaited those who were caught.

Meeting and pickup
1- Pick-up and Drop-off: we will pick you up from any address in Barcelona, including Hotels, Apartments, Cruise Ports, or the Airport.

2- Luggage Note: Please note that we cannot accommodate any luggage during the tour.
3- A day before your tour date, your guide will send a text message to your phone (and email), including your exact pick-up time and all additional trip information. The pick-up time will typically be scheduled between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, depending on daylight and to avoid traffic.
