Discover the Macarena district, one of the most historical and personalized areas of Seville, on a walking tour full of culture, tradition and local life.
We will start at the old Hospital de las Cinco Llagas, now Parliament of Andalusia, where you will learn about its history and curiosities. We will continue to the Macarena Wall and the emblematic Basilica of Hope Macarena, one of the great devotional symbols of the city.
We will explore historic churches built on ancient mosques, such as San Gil and Santa Marina, and discover corners with authentic Seville atmosphere such as the Fair Street Market and the Alameda de Hercules.
The tour includes cultural and monumental spaces such as the Palace of the Marquises de la Algaba, the Church of San Luis de los Franceses and the Plaza de Santa Isabel, showing the historical and social evolution of the neighborhood.
We will finish at the Palacio de las Dueñas, with a strong connection to the history of Seville.
