Eastern Kyoto is the most tourist-dense area, and is also known as hell. However, that is only the famous spots. Just 500m away, there are quiet, historical paths. Unlike the "commercial" Kyoto where 99% of the people gather, the real history of Kyoto remains there.

Of course, we will visit the famous spots. But the real value of this tour is to experience with all five senses the beautiful roads that many foreigners don't know about, but really want to see.
The tour includes hotel pick-up and drop-off by car, so you can ride only the most enjoyable roads.
We will pick you up at your designated hotel or nearby parking area.
First, we will cycle along the Kamo River as a form of practice. It is an easy ride even for beginners and has a nice atmosphere.
We will guide you on foot through the famous Senbon Torii gates and the vast shrine. If you are not interested, you can skip this part and take a more in-depth route.
The bamboo forests of Arashiyama are famous, but Kyoto has more history and many vast and mysterious bamboo forests. Instead of walking through the crowds, we will cycle through the bamboo forests recommended by local guides where there are no people.
The surrounding stream and autumn leaves make this a very beautiful bridge.
Some temples have vast grounds and include old roads, historic bridges, schools, etc. You can ride your bike on roads that are also commonly used by local residents.
This is a place in Gion where the scenery from long ago has been preserved, with beautiful canals and bridges. We stopped by and took some photos.
This is Kyoto's historic entertainment district. We will cycle through the backstreets and stop along the way to show you around.
