In Coba, you will see the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan peninsula that rises to 42 m high, you will explore the dierent constructions surrounded by the jungle, lakes and roads that connect the dierent vestiges of Coba.
Later on we will visit a small mayan village in the middle of the jungle and learn about their traditions and customs. At the same time you will enjoy and swim in an amazing cenote. At the end you will taste a delicious typical regional dish in this beautiful place.

Some hieroglyphic inscriptions found on stelae and panels at the site allow us to affirm that Cobá was the original name of the city. One of the possible meanings and the most plausible, given its proximity to the lagoons, is “choppy water.”
