Combine the morning visit to the ancient city of Girona, north of Catalonia, with an afternoon on the charming Costa Brava coastline.

Girona is a fantastic choice—this historic Catalan city is compact, beautiful, and full of medieval charm.

Our walking itinerary will follow narrow cobblestone streets filled with stone arches and hidden square around the Girona Cathedral and Arab Baths.

We will walk the city walls for amazing panoramic views of the city and the Montseny Mountain Range.

Girona is also a foodie hotspot. Try local treats like xuixos as well as enjoy a great cup of specialty coffee in one of many cool cafes.

In the afternoon, you will visit Calella de Palafrugell, a whitewashed old fishing village on the Costa Brava, known for small hidden coves, relaxed authentic Mediterranean vibe and the coastal path (Camí de Ronda).
