Meeting and pickup
Your guide will be waiting for you in front of the big grey corner building with the sign 'Banco de España'. He will be wearing a t-shirt with World Adventour logo.
What to expect
Disappear into the winter wonderland one step at a time. Enjoy a workshop about snow shelters, bushcraft, and other survival skills in the wilderness. Return to Barcelona with a whole new perspective on snowshoeing.
Our Pyrenees snowshoeing tour is suitable for a wide public but we require that each client brings a specific set of clothing and footwear to guarantee comfort and safety.
Our first stop for a cup of coffee, bathroom, and snowshoeing gear will be at the Bar Gusi in Ribes de Freser. This is a well-known meeting hub for famous Catalan mountaineers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Depending on the snow conditions we will either go to La Molina ski station or Vallter 2000 ski station in the Catalan Pyrenees. We will pack the last items and head out to enjoy a full day of snowshoeing in the deep Black pine forest, open plains, and steeper ascents to the summits.
This snowshoeing tour provides you with unique opportunities to experience the high mountains in the winter.
