Explore three major cities of the ancient Ionian world on this full-day guided tour from Izmir. Priene, Miletus, and Didyma reveal classical history through planned cities, intellectual life, monumental temples, and ancient religious traditions.
Visit Priene, a hillside city known for its grid plan, Temple of Athena, preserved ruins, and wide landscape views. Continue to Miletus, once a major port and intellectual center, where the amphitheatre, Ionic stoa, and urban remains reflect its importance in trade, philosophy, architecture, and city planning.
The final visit is Didyma, home to the monumental Temple of Apollo, a major oracle center known for its massive columns and Medusa Head.
