Start with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo. The hike begins at the Hermenegildo Galeana Flora and Fauna Protected Area.
Embark on a 40-minute trek through the lush, low tropical jungle. Your guide will help you spot local wildlife such as coatis, white-fronted parrots, and other native birds along the way.
Arrive at the impressive geological marvel of Cueva del Tigre. The accredited tour guide will provide you with a helmet and headlamp to safely explore the cave’s towering ceilings, hanging roots, and unique rock formations for about 40 minutes.
Exit the cave and begin the scenic, 30-minute walk downhill towards Majahua beach. The trail winds through limestone hills and offers spectacular panoramic viewpoints of the Pacific Ocean.
Arrive at Playa La Majahua. Take a refreshing walk along the white sands, take pictures and relax.
Return to the hotel. Pack up and enjoy a 25-minute drive back to your accommodation.
