    Ifrane

We'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas and its cedar forests. This mountain chain extends 350 kilometers from the southwest to the northwest of Morocco. On the way we will pass through towns such as Ifrane, known as the "Moroccan Switzerland" for the architecture of its houses and for being one of the most exclusive ski destinations in the country, and Azrou, one of the most famous Berber cities in Morocco. We will cross the Ziz Valley and the Ziz Gorges and pass through towns such as Midelt or Erfoud. From Erfoud we will take a desert road until we reach the Merzouga desert. We will spend this night in a hotel near the dunes.

We will enter the desert in the 4X4, we will visit nomadic villages, we will see oases and we will ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Following the route, we will visit the famous town of Khamlia where the Gnawa live, descendants of the slaves who came from Africa, and we will enjoy their amazing folk music. At sunset we will return to the hotel to take the camels that will take us to the Berber camp in the heart of the dunes, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

If there is something that nobody wants to miss, it is the sunrise in the desert. After enjoying this moment we will take the camels to go to the hotel where we can shower and have breakfast (depending on the type of camp, breakfast and shower can be before the camel ride). On the way back to Ouarzazate we will pass through Rissani and Tafilalet, place of origin of the Alawite dynasty and former capital of the Alawite sultans. Next we will go to the Todra Gorges, where we will admire the valley from the hill, and the Dades Valley. Leaving the Dades Valley behind along the route of the "Thousand Kasbahs", we will pass through the surprising Valley of Roses, famous for the cultivation of roses, and we will arrive at the palm grove of Skoura. We end the day in Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night.
