What to expect

Begin your scuba diving adventure with the Open Water Diver (OWD) course in Marsa Alam—one of Egypt’s top-rated dive spots. This globally recognized beginner certification is the perfect way to build your diving skills and confidence while exploring the Red Sea’s stunning coral reefs.

The 3-day course features six dives. Day one includes theory lessons and essential pool or shallow water training. On the next two days, you’ll venture out by boat to breathtaking open-water sites, diving as deep as 18 meters under the guidance of expert instructors.

Choose the learning style that fits your needs: jump straight into an introductory dive from the boat and complete theory later at your hotel, or take a gradual approach with both classroom and in-water sessions. All materials, including your official OWD manual, are provided.

By completing this course, you’ll earn your Open Water Diver certification—and take home unforgettable memories of diving among vibrant corals, colorful fish, and the rich marine life of Marsa Alam.
