What's Included
Meeting and pickup
For airport pickups, please provide your airline and flight number when booking. After completing immigration, baggage claim, and customs, proceed to the designated meeting area outside the terminal and look for your driver holding a sign with the lead traveler's name. Before pickup, you will receive a confirmation message with your assigned driver's name and pickup details. We recommend keeping your phone connected after arrival. We provide personal, bilingual support by WhatsApp, phone, and email and coordinate directly with your driver. If you have difficulty locating your driver, contact us and we will assist you with the meeting immediately. For pickups from hotels or accommodations within our designated SJO Airport pickup area, your driver will meet you at the main entrance or lobby at the confirmed pickup time.
What to expect
Book your private transfer from San Jose SJO Airport to La Fortuna or Arenal by selecting your pickup location and providing your travel and flight details. You'll receive confirmation with the information needed for your transfer.

Before pickup, you will receive a confirmation message with your assigned driver's name and pickup details. Pickup at SJO Airport:
After completing immigration, baggage claim, and customs, proceed to the designated meeting area outside the terminal. Your driver will be waiting with a sign displaying the lead traveler's name. We monitor the flight information provided with your booking to coordinate your airport pickup.
Pickup from SJO Airport-Area Accommodations:
For hotels, vacation rentals, Airbnbs, and private residences within our designated SJO Airport pickup area, your driver will meet you at the main entrance or lobby at the confirmed pickup time.
Private Transportation:
Travel privately in an air-conditioned passenger vehicle with complimentary bottled water. Your driver will assist with your luggage and provide direct transportation to La Fortuna and the Arenal area.
Complimentary Comfort Stop:
When needed, we can include a brief complimentary comfort stop along the route for restroom use, coffee, or a quick snack. The stop is subject to timing, route, traffic, and operational conditions. Food and beverages are not included.
Drop-Off in La Fortuna or Arenal:
Your driver will take you directly to your confirmed hotel, vacation rental, Airbnb, or private residence within our designated La Fortuna and Arenal drop-off area. Drop-off locations must be accessible by a standard passenger van. Locations requiring 4x4, off-road access, or roads that are not safely accessible by a standard passenger vehicle are not included. Travel time is approximately 3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
