Guide and Jeep will meet you at hotel, then you will head to Hoa Lo museum (called as Hanoi Hilton by American pilots during Vietnam war). Hoa Lo Prison was built by the French and used during the Indochina War to house Vietnamese patriots, and later during the Vietnam War it held American pilots who were shot down. The small part of the complex still remaining is now a museum with displays will tell you a part of Vietnam’s history. The next visit is Vietnam Military History Museum. At this museum, you will find the expected displays inside the building on the long history of Vietnam's military. Outside the building is an impressive collection of the military refuse of Vietnam's former foes, some from the French but mostly from the Americans. Most striking is a kind of memorial assembled from pieces of shot-down bombers. Following the museum, continuing driving to Huu Tiep Pond in Ngoc Ha Village where a part of Bomber 52 was shot down in 1972 preserved. Getting back to your hotel, tour ends
