    Civita di Bagnoregio

Civita di Bagnoregio is an ancient village of Etruscan origin, located in the province of Viterbo, in Lazio, on a tuff hill surrounded by the Valle dei Calanchi. It is nicknamed "The Dying City" because of the progressive and constant erosion of the tuff soil that threatens its existence. Accessible only via a long pedestrian bridge, the village has maintained Etruscan-Roman urbanism and offers an immersive experience in the past, with a growing tourist influx that has revitalized shops and traditions.
