Begin your Mount Agung summit adventure from Besakih Temple, Bali’s largest and most sacred temple complex. From here, your guide will lead you through a challenging uphill trail that ascends directly to the highest peak of Mount Agung. As you pass the temple grounds and enter the dense forest, you’ll experience the spiritual atmosphere of this holy site before pushing onward to the summit. This route offers the most complete and rewarding climb, ending with breathtaking sunrise views from the highest point in Bali.

Start your Mount Agung trek from Pasar Agung Temple, the second-highest temple on the mountain. From this point, your guide will lead you along a shorter and less demanding trail that takes you to the crater rim of Mount Agung. Along the way, enjoy the peaceful temple atmosphere and panoramic views overlooking southern Bali. This route does not reach the summit but offers a rewarding sunrise experience with stunning scenery and a more moderate climb.
