What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The meeting point is at the white arches of the Royal Palace, next to the coffee kiosk inside the garden. Groups may consist of 1 to 16 participants. The guide will be waiting at the scheduled time, will identify themselves as an Évora Cultural Experience guide, and will greet customers by name.
The tour ends in the historic center of Évora, in the city's main square. The end point is an 8-minute walk from the start point.

1Palacio de Dom Manuel
Meeting Point. The Dom Manuel Palace of Évora was one of the centres of the Portuguese Renaissance under King Manuel I. Playwrights such as Gil Vicente and explorers such as Vasco da Gama sought audiences with the king there. It is one of the best starting points for exploring this city, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. The guide will make the historical framework of the city of Évora in the history of Portugal and in the Universal history. Don't be surprised if you find links between the history of your country and the history of Évora! (20m)

2Chapel of Bones
"We, the bones that are here, await yours" are the macabre invitation that receives visitors to this famous monument, unique in the world for it's size and certainly one of the most macabre. It's walls are covered with real human bones that belonged to thousands of people who lived in Évora. Built in the 17th century, it contains many secrets and legends that we will be happy to share with you. Entrance tickets included. (20m)

3Praca do Giraldo
