If you choose to participate in the half day tour of the Bonneville Salt Flats, please book domestic flight after 6:30 PM and international flight after 7:30 PM.
Arrive in Salt Lake City, the gateway to the American West. Your tour guide will arrange airport pickup between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM. For arrivals outside this window, assistance will be provided to reach the hotel via shuttle. After check-in at SpringHill Suites Marriott SLC Airport, enjoy a relaxed evening at leisure and prepare for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, begin the scenic drive north toward Wyoming. Rolling plains slowly give way to rugged mountain landscapes as the journey builds anticipation. In the morning, we greet the first rays of sunshine and start a dreamy Yellowstone exploration journey

Stop in the heart of Jackson Hole, famous for its elk antler arches and Old West charm. Browse local shops, enjoy lunch on your own, and take in views of the surrounding mountains.
Nestled at the base of the towering Teton Range, Jenny Lake is one of Grand Teton National Park’s most iconic and photographed spots. This crystal-clear alpine lake reflects the dramatic peaks surrounding it, creating postcard-perfect views in every direction. An easy walk along the lakeshore allows you to fully take in the serene scenery, fresh mountain air, and natural beauty that makes this area unforgettable for visitors of all activity levels.
The Jackson Lake Dam overlook offers sweeping panoramic views of Jackson Lake set against the rugged Teton mountains. Canyon Village serves as a central hub within Yellowstone National Park and a convenient stop for lunch and rest. Located near the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, this area offers dining options, restrooms, and time to recharge while surrounded by forested scenery. It’s the perfect pause before continuing deeper into the park’s iconic landscapes.
Mammoth Hot Springs is one of Yellowstone’s most unique geothermal areas, famous for its striking limestone terraces formed by mineral-rich hot water. The cascading white and golden formations create an almost otherworldly landscape that constantly changes over time. Easy boardwalks make this area accessible and allow visitors to explore one of the park’s most fascinating natural wonders up close.
(Optional) The Bridge Bay Marina Boat Driving Experience offers a rare opportunity to explore Yellowstone Lake from the water. Available seasonally from mid-June to early September, this self-driving boat experience provides a peaceful and unique perspective of the park’s largest lake, surrounded by open skies and distant mountain views. Return to Old Faithful Snow Lodge for the night.
After breakfast, depart early for additional exploration.
Grand Prismatic Spring is Yellowstone’s largest and most famous hot spring, instantly recognizable by its vivid rings of blue, green, yellow, and orange. The striking colors come from heat-loving bacteria and create one of the most photographed sights in the park. From boardwalks and viewpoints, visitors can fully appreciate the scale and surreal beauty of this natural masterpiece.
Midway Geyser Basin may be small in size, but it delivers some of Yellowstone’s biggest wow moments. Home to iconic features like Grand Prismatic Spring and Excelsior Geyser, this basin showcases intense geothermal activity, steaming pools, and vibrant mineral colors that highlight the park’s volcanic power.
Fountain Paint Pot offers a fascinating look at Yellowstone’s diverse geothermal features all in one area. Here, visitors can see bubbling mud pots, steaming fumaroles, colorful hot springs, and erupting geysers along an easy boardwalk trail. The thick, churning mud—rich in minerals—resembles paint boiling from the earth, giving this area its name.
Lunch and free time at West Yellowstone West Yellowstone is a lively gateway town located just outside Yellowstone National Park’s west entrance. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, shops, and restaurants, it’s a convenient stop to relax, refuel, and enjoy small-town charm before or after exploring the park’s wild landscapes.
Yellowstone Bear World is a drive-through wildlife park offering close-up views of native animals such as black bears, grizzly bears, bison, elk, and wolves. This optional stop provides a unique and family-friendly way to observe wildlife in a controlled environment while learning about conservation and regional species
