Monument to the Bandeiras(10mins)&Monument to Dharma Protector Heroes (10mins) Monument to the Bandeiras at Ibirapuera Park is one of the granite statues in the world and one of the most visited tourist landmarks in Sao Paulo. The monument depicts an expedition, led by two horsemen, followed by a group of people of different ethnic backgrounds (Indians, Africans, Mestizos, and Portuguese), pulling a canoe that they used for traveling by river. Catedral Metropolitana de São Paulo The Catedral Metropolitana de São Paulo, or Catedral da Sé, is flanked by gigantic towers on either side. The majestic dome is inspired by the Cathedral of Florence's Renaissance minaret. The interiors boast intricate marble sculptures, stained glass panels and breathtaking architecture that's true to the Neo-Gothic school of design. The crypt houses tombs of archdiocese luminaries and the organ is one of the largest on the continent.

Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand - MASP (Outside visit, 10 mins) Located in the heart of the city, Paulista Avenue, the MASP is one of the most important museums in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the main postcards of the city. It is on the list of the ten most visited tourist attractions of São Paulo, with a collection of about eight thousand pieces. Another point that attracts visitors is the architecture. In construction, it is unique in the world with the main body resting on four side pillars, forming a span of 74 meters long. Beco do Batman is an area where three alleys meet. Every inch of wall at the dense urban crossroads is covered with graffiti and the pieces even extend down onto the sidewalks. Itaipú Dam is on the Alto (Upper) Paraná River at the Brazil-Paraguay border. The dam itself, built between 1975 and 1982, is 196 metres (643 feet) height and consists of large concrete segments joined to form a hollow chamber. Its reservoir stretches northward for about 160 km (100 miles), and it has totally submerged the formerly spectacular Guaíra Falls. Built as a joint venture by Paraguay and Brazil, the energy generated by Itaipu helps to meet the demands of the two countries.

Mount Corcovado (Train ticket included, 120 mins) Mount Corcovado is 2,310 feet (704 metres) high and a part of the Carioca Range, overlooking Rio de Janeiro in southeastern Brazil. Mount Corcovado (“Hunchback”) is named for its shape. On its narrow summit towers the imposing statue of Christ the Redeemer, 98 feet (30 metres) tall. The peak is accessible by road and by cog railway and is one of Rio de Janeiro’s most widely recognized landmarks.
Maracanã Stadium, officially called Estádio Jornalista Mário Filho, was built to serve as the flagship venue for the 1950 World Cup. It is among the largest football grounds in the world, though its capacity has been significantly reduced over the years as a result of multiple renovations. When it was built for the World Cup in 1950, it could hold somewhere around 200,000 standing spectators.
Bus tour, 10mins The Sambadrome, designed by its mastermind, the world-renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Neimeyer, is a magnificent venue that was specially designed with the spectator in mind. The Sambadrome is a purpose-built stadium constructed specially to host the annual parade of Samba Schools each year during the festival of Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro. It is comprised of free-standing individual structures for spectator viewing, called sectors, which sit on both sides of a long alleyway down which the Samba Schools parade.

It is located in the Flamengo Park, on Guanabara Bay, in the capital city of the State of Rio de Janeiro and within the Federative Republic of Brazil. The main feature is the abstract sculpture which represents an arch that stands 31 meters (102 feet) above. Topped by a concave rectangular table, it is at first glance, a mystic and very massive ancient torch. Furthermore, the monument is also comprised of another metal abstract sculpture that is dedicated to the people who created the Brazilian Air Force.

The Catedral’s appearance and history are very unusual and make it one of the most curious sights in the marvellous city! The Metropolitan Cathedral is 75 meters high and 64 meters high, with four stained glass windows are distributed along its diameter. The Cathedral also has an area of 8,000 m², with capacity for 20,000 people standing or 5,000 seated!
Escadaria Selarón is the world most beautiful staircase! It was built by Jorge Selaron, a Chilean ceramic artist. In 1990 he started to renovate the staircases in front of his house. In the beginning, he was adding blue, yellow or green colored ceramic tiles which are the colors of the Brazilian flag. The project began as a pass time, but little by little, Selaron got addicted to continue project. In the following 20 years, Saleron used more than 2,000 tiles from all over the world to turn the 250 steps in front of the house into a piece of art. The background of the steps on both sides is red, and various patterns are spelled out with other tiles of different colors. Take a walk down the Seleron Steps to see all the surprises that are waiting for you to discover.
