start at 7:30 AM, drive to the North-East of Siem Reap (120KM) to visit the group of Koh Ker temples. You will discover the ancient capital of Cambodia during the 10th century. The king Jayavarman IV (922-944) built Prasat Thom temple on 7 storey Pyramidal base. and you will visit many other temples such as Linga Temple, Prasat Neang Khmao, Prasat Pram temple.
Beng Mealea Temple which was built in the 12th century. It is the one that was invaded by the jungle. The temple was a model of the building of Angkor Wat in Angkor site. Then we are going to discover O Thmor Dab ‘Quarry’, the quarry of all temples in Cambodia.You will see the traces of Khmer ancestors cutting the sand stone to build all temples in the areas.
