Marrakech is one of the imperial cities and the fourth largest city of Morocco. The ancient part of the city, known as the Medina or "Red City", was founded in 1070-1072 by Yusuf ibn Tashfin, leader of the Almoravid dynasty, and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. This historic tour offers a unique opportunity to explore historical monuments and taste local foods. This full-day trip lets you visit historical sites with a local guide, including the Ibn Youssef School, Saadian Tombs, and one of the most beautiful palaces in Marrakech, "Bahia Palace", built in the 19th century. Walk through the narrow alleyways of the Medina, discover local life and artisans’ crafts, stroll through the souks, and reach Jemaa El-Fna Square, the historic heart of the city. Before ending the evening at your riad, visit one of Marrakech’s most famous places, the Majorelle Garden, also known as the Yves Saint Laurent Garden.
