    Jallianwala Bagh: 11:30 AM–12:30 PM Walk towards the neighbouring Jallianwala Bagh after visiting the Golden Temple. This historical landmark honours the 1919 massacre, which was horrific. Take approximately sixty minutes to comprehend its importance in the liberation movement of India. 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Shopping & Lunch Stop for lunch at one of the well-known restaurants in Amritsar. You can take a break from travelling to the Wagah Border during this time.

    Wagah Border: 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM Travel to the Wagah Border to see the well-known "Retreat" ritual. It's best to arrive early to secure a good seat because the ceremony begins around sunset. The event includes a parade led by the militaries of Pakistan and India, which is a passionate and patriotic demonstration.
