The nearby Aniene River provides the water to all the fountains and waterfalls. Once you have finished exploring the gardens, head to the Roman countryside. Admire the beauty of vineyards and rolling hills as you go. Stop at a trattoria, a local restaurant, for a wonderful view of the landscape.
