  As part of the tour, we will drive along Spadina Avenue, where Toronto’s oldest and most iconic Chinese is located. During this section of the tour, the tour guide will offer a brief explanation of the history and unique characteristics that make this vibrant neighborhood one of the cultural references of the city.

  Casa Loma

  During the outside visit of Casa Loma, a castle-shaped mansion-museum, travelers will have the opportunity to learn about the history of this remarkable architectural monument. Travellers can also take photos and videos of the castle (outside only). For those interested in knowing the museum inside, we recommend letting us know in advance, that way, our tour guide will organize the tour itinerary leaving the visit to Casa Loma at the end of the itinerary. This is a great way to conclude your tour, giving visitors the opportunity to visit the interior at their own pace and in their own time. Please note that the visit inside the museum is approximately 2 to 3 hours, as well as that museum tickets are not included.

  As we walk through one of the streets of campus, you can admire the impressive architecture of one of the most prestigious universities in the world and the best in Canada. Founded in 1827, it stands out for its fascinating mix of neo-Gothic and Victorian styles – which often evokes the settings of classic films – surrounded by beautiful green spaces in the heart of the city. Although we won’t stop, from the comfort of the vehicle you can appreciate iconic buildings such as the historic University College and the majestic Soldiers’ Tower, witnesses to the brilliant academic career of numerous Nobel laureates and world leaders.

  Nathan Phillips Square

  In Nathan Phillips Square, visitors will learn about the history of the place, its various public uses over time and nearby monuments, such as Toronto City Hall and the old city hall. You will also have the opportunity to take photos and videos with Toronto’s iconic giant letters.

  As part of the tour, we’ll drive along Bay Street, home to many of Canada’s leading financial institutions, in towering skyscrapers. This area is known as the Toronto Financial District.   On our tour, we will pass Front Street, right next to Union Station, the largest train station in Canada. During this section, the guide will provide a brief explanation of the history and unique features that make this transportation hub an essential part of Toronto.

• Fairmont Royal York (Pass by)

  As we proceed along Front Street in front of the historic Union Station we will also pass in front of the imposing Fairmont Royal York Hotel. Opened in 1929 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, this majestic châteauesque hotel was once the tallest building in the British Empire. For nearly a century it has been the temporary home of British royalty—including Queen Elizabeth II—heads of state and celebrities. A true symbol of elegance and tradition in the financial heart of Toronto.

  Berczy Park

  Berczy Park is known as "The Fountain of Dogs Park" is a very popular meeting and recreational spot for pets and their owners. In the center of the park is a unique fountain with sculptures of dogs from whose mouths spring water. During the visit, travelers will have the opportunity to take photos and videos of this charming and fun place.

  Gooderham (Flatiron) Building

  Next to Berczy Park is one of Toronto's most iconic buildings: the Gooderham Building. Also known as the “Flatiron” for its characteristic triangular shape, this historic site is a favorite place to take pictures. During the visit, travelers will have the opportunity to photograph and record videos of this architectural landmark.

  Distillery Historic District

  We will take a walking tour of the old distillery district. This National Historic Site (1988) is the largest collection of Victorian industrial architecture in North America (5.3 hectares). Since 2003, its more than 40 heritage buildings and 10 streets have been franchise-free. The district is home to unique cafes, art galleries, boutiques, jewelry stores, artist studios, and restaurants (such as the famous Mill Street Brewery). Culture and Art: Headquarters of the Young Centre for the Performing Arts, home of the prestigious Soulpepper Theatre Company. A must-see stop for history, art and gastronomy in Toronto.
