1Arusha
Start from Arusha and travel towards the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a guided hike through the lush Chagga landscape to Materuni Waterfall, with beautiful views of farmland and forest along the way. Visit a local Chagga coffee farm and learn how coffee is traditionally grown, harvested and prepared. Enjoy a freshly prepared local lunch before continuing towards Karatu for your overnight stay. Serengeti National Park (Pass by)
After breakfast, travel towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the Ngorongoro highlands and into the vast Serengeti ecosystem. After entering the park, begin your first game drive, looking for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and other wildlife. 2Serengeti National Park
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, when wildlife is often active and the scenery is especially beautiful. Continue exploring the Serengeti until the afternoon, with opportunities to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife. After the game drive, begin the scenic journey towards the Ngorongoro Highlands, passing through the changing landscapes of the conservation area. Arrive at Simba Campsite near the crater rim for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the natural beauty of the highlands. Ngorongoro Crater (Pass by)
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning game drive. Explore the crater floor, home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before continuing your wildlife experience until the afternoon. Later, ascend from the crater and begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening.
