Meeting and pickup
Pickup is included from most hotels in Liberia, Papagagayo la zona de hotels como occidental, four season y alrededores, and nearby areas. Please be ready at your hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. If you are staying outside the pickup zone, we will arrange a convenient meeting point. Exact pickup time will be confirmed after booking.
What to expect
The adventure begins with a scenic drive through Guanacaste’s countryside. Along the way, we'll stop to visit one of the most stunning waterfalls in the region. Bring your swimsuit if you'd like to take a refreshing dip beneath the cascading water!
Once we reach the base of Miravalles Volcano — one of the most active in Guanacaste — we’ll begin a moderate hike through lush rainforest. This area is home to Costa Rica’s only safely walkable volcanic crater, where you’ll see bubbling mud pots, steaming fumaroles, and other fascinating geothermal activity up close.
After the hike, you’ll get to relax in natural hot springs and enjoy a volcanic mud bath, known for its skin-soothing properties. The experience ends with a delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch before heading back.
