The Valley of Flowers is a world heritage site and a part of the famous Nanda Devi Biosphere. This national park is in the far interiors of Garhwal Himalayas and is spread over 87.5 sq. Km. This hidden jewel is a truly unique habitat, home to many varieties of alpine flowers and plants. With millions of species of wildflowers such as saxifrages, sediams, lilies, poppy, calendulas, daisies, geranium, zinnia, and petunia, the valley also holds many streams that add to the natural beauty.
Gurudwara Sri Hemkund Sahib Ji is a Sikh place of worship and pilgrimage site. It is devoted to Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru. With its setting of a glacial lake surrounded by seven mountain peaks, each adorned by a Nishan Sahib on its cliff.

Post breakfast proceed our journey further. There are Panch Prayag along the way where you will witness the holy confluences. Lunch enroute. Stay for a while and then proceed to Govindghat. Check into the hotel Overnight.
After breakfast, begins Valley Of Flowers Trekking, gradual ascent trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria. Arrive at Ghangaria. Ghangaria is the base camp for visiting Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers. Hotel check-in or camp out. Explore the surrounding. Have dinner and call-it-a-day.
Today is the day, the very reason for this trek. Post breakfast, start your trek. Scale a height of 3,858m to arrive at the Valley Of Flowers. This sight is a feast to the eyes and treats of the soul. Admire one of nature’s finest creations as you are left speechless witnessing an array of thousands of flowers in full bloom. The wild flora creates a rich eco-system for many species of birds, butterflies, and insects too. Explore the valley to the fullest, relax by the gushing river, take photos and breathe in the pleasing scent of the flowers. Return trek to Ghangaria.
Post early morning breakfast start your expedition to Hemkund Sahib. On the way, you will see a pretty waterfall on your right side, an ideal place to click pictures. After two hours of trekking, treeline ends and post that oxygen levels will start reducing. The Hemkund Sahib gurdwara is reached after another hour of grueling ascent, and the lake is just behind it. Explore the Laxman mandir right next to it and pay homage at this sacred spot. Hike down the mountains on your way back to Ghangaria. Check-in at the hotel and end your day with a good night's sleep.
