Experience the secrets and the essence behind Bolivian gastronomy in the heart of Cochabamba, Bolivia's gastronomical capital.

We professionally train local women who have suffered from gender violence and others in vulnerable social situations to guide you through the process of preparing a gourmet 3 course meal using local ingredients and recipes.

These women will introduce you to Bolivian cuisine, the way their grandmothers taught them, the traditional way, bringing you an unforgettable and authentic experience.

Learn about the history of traditional recipes, taste local ingredients, learn how to peel potatoes using only a knife!... All this while supporting these women in Bolivia to value their work and their knowledge! Your payment for this activity goes towards helping these women sustain themselves and their families during this difficult time.

What to expect

You will learn how to make a traditional 3 course Bolivian meal, guided by one of the women we professionally train. All of our guides are women who have suffered from domestic violence, and who are in the process of recovering.

Our workshops not only give you an intimate insight into Bolivian culture through the lens of its rich and colourful gastronomy, but also support these women economically and psychologically.

We believe empowerment is about seeing the value of our skills and abilities, and therefore of ourselves. Guiding these workshops therefore shows these women the power they truly hold to move forward in their lives.

The experience is a fun, joyful and overall celebrative one, where cultures entwine, and delicious food and cocktails are shared. To us, there is no better way to support such an important cause!
