Take a private lesson in traditional Japanese cooking taught by a professional instructor. Learn the basics of the culinary concept of Ichi-ju-sansai, a meal consisting of soup, three side dishes, and rice prepared using seasonal ingredients. Make the day's recipe and take home a souvenir booklet of recipes.
You will learn how to make everyday Japanese sweets according to the season and events, it's one of the Japanese traditional sweets.
Enjoy seasonal Japanese confectionary and matcha green tea in a cozy atmosphere.
You will be welcomed by friendly staff with Japanese tea.
The class is briefly explained by our staff, and you will wear an apron.
Learn about history and culture of Japanese cuisine and basic ingredients of Japanese cuisine.
Demonstration by English Speaking Instructor and making seasonal everyday Japanese meals, called 'Ichiju-Sansai(One soup and three dishes)' together on the class.
Eat dishes with the other participants, and end class.

What to expect

Japan is a country blessed with four distinct seasons, each bringing its own variety of fresh and flavorful ingredients.
In this class, you will learn about Japan’s climate and food culture through everyday home cooking.

What You’ll Learn:
- Introduction to the basics of Japanese home-style cuisine
- Experience shaving katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes)
- Learn about dashi (Japanese soup stock) and key seasonings such as soy sauce, mirin, sake, and miso
- Cooking demonstration and hands-on practice
- Prepare a traditional Japanese meal known as Ichiju-Sansai — “one soup and three dishes,” consisting of steamed rice, one main dish, and two side dishes
