With this program you will be able to observe real sumo morning practice at the a sumo stable known to have produced Yokozuna-class wrestlers. See and feel the impact of the sumo wrestlers as they warm up with stretching and strength exercises, then eventually sparring matches. While many will have seen sumo on television or the internet, seeing, hearing and feeling the impact of the wrestlers up close is something entirely different. During and after the practice you will have a chance to learn about the hardships that the wrestlers go through to become a pro sumo wrestler. You will also have time to take pictures with the wrestlers and receive a fun souvenir set. Who knows, one of those sumo wrestlers may be a future Yokozuna.

This experience is not an entertainment show, but an observation of how wrestlers at a top-tier stable train. This experience provides an authentic firsthand look at the intense, oftentimes lungbusting training required to prepare one's self to compete for top honors in this sport.
