This cycling tour explores one of the most beautiful coastal routes in the Seto Inland Sea, connecting Onomichi and the historic port town of Tomonoura. While the nearby Shimanami Kaido is famous worldwide, this route remains a hidden gem known mostly to local cyclists.
The ride follows quiet coastal roads with views of the Seto Inland Sea, passing fishing villages and rugged island scenery. Along the way, we visit local spots rarely seen by international visitors and travel beneath the impressive Utsumi Ohashi Bridge, taking two local ferries for a relaxed island-hopping experience.

After reaching Tomonoura, we enjoy a local lunch before beginning the scenic ride back toward Onomichi.

Your guide Alex will meet you outside the ticket gates at JR Onomichi Station (South Gate), near the 7-11. He will be waiting for you with his white Giant bicycle. Please check your voucher for the meeting time.
