Hiking in the magnificent scenery of the Atlantic Forest, you will visit natural pools, viewpoints, and paradisiacal beaches guided by a local guide, enjoy the local food and stay on residents lodges
We will hike on average 10-16k / day at a comfortable pace that suits you with breaks for you to enjoy your journey on the wildest and most preserved side of the island

Aracatiba Village in front of the main pier
The main village on the island, this charming village has many historical points of interest, it also has great bars and restaurants, some with live Brazilian music for you to enjoy. Here begins our walk of approximately 16 km to our destination, along the way we will have many cool things to see and visit.
Church of colonial times, donated by the imperial government when it decided to build a quarantine center here for ships coming from Europe during the epidemics the typhus and cholera epidemics Here will be our meeting point in the main square of the village.
After approximately 45 minutes of hiking, we arrive at the viewpoint of Curva da Morte, where you have a beautiful view of Vila do Abraao, perfect place for us to have a little break and take a nice picture
The village of Dois Rios mixes nature, history, and culture. In addition to the wonderful beach, it is possible to visit the Carcere Museum and the Ecomuseum and learn a little about the local history.

Parnaioca is a special chapter on this book. Here is one of the most preserved places on the island. Everything is well behind in time, there are no power lines and a generator only runs for few hours, the water from the showers are heated using firewood.

Aventureiro beach is one of those unique places, where it seems that time runs more slowly and we can connect with ourselves and nature.
After breakfast, we will leave the Aventureiro towards Proveta it is about 2hrs hiking to get to the village of Proveta the second largest on the island, still little explored for tourism, has one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the hike. Here we have a little break to rest and for those who want to buy something to drink or eat.
Here we finish our tour. Aracatiba is the third largest village on the island, with nice and clear seawater, it is famous for marine farms, oysters, scallops, and fresh mussels.
After breakfast and time to say goodbye. In Aracatiba you have regular transport to the mainland. (not included)
