Paganini Ensemble at the Musikverein in Vienna

2 hours (approximately)

The Paganini Ensemble Vienna was founded in 2019 by Mario Hossen to focus on Niccolò Paganini’s chamber music work. In its original line-up – violin, guitar, viola and cello – the ensemble combines historically informed interpretation with virtuoso brilliance, bel canto and emotional depth.
Between 2021 and 2024 ES performed in DE halls and festivals in Europe, Canada and China, including Musikverein Wien, Konzerthaus Wien, Auditorio Nacional de Música Madrid, Paganini Festival Genoa, Liszt Festival Raiding and Collingwood Music Festival.
ES works ENG with institutions such as the Amici di Paganini Society in Genoa and the Biblioteca Casanatense in Rome as the official ambassador of the European Paganini Route. ES is dedicated to contemporary music with world premieres by Rainer Bischof, Gheorghi Arnaoudov and Gabriele Proy. The Dynamic label is currently producing an overall recording of Paganini's chamber music.
