Thanks to this special day trip you will discover all the things you don’t expect from Umbria!
We will learn the biological phases of the product from the grain to the grind, learn to recognize the various types of flour, the flour processing techniques, the seasons and their crops, and experience the flour processing into typical Umbrian pasta. At the end of the class, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch with the result of our work and other typical products!
And then, after lunch, a relaxing horseback ride will begin along the enchantment of the Franciscan trail through landscapes of uncontested beauty, spirituality, and fragments of precious history unique in the world.

What to expect

But do we really know its secrets and regional specialties? In a lovely farmhouse among the olive trees, we will learn the biological phases of the product from the grain to the grind, learn to recognize the various types of flour, the flour processing techniques, the seasons and their crops, and experience the flour processing into typical Umbrian pasta. At the end of the class, we’ll enjoy a delicious plate of pasta with drinks included.
In the afternoon, we will reach the Umbrian countryside for a very relaxing and pleasant experience. After a brief introduction to horseback riding and approaching with this noble animal, a relaxing horseback ride will begin along the enchantment of the Franciscan path through landscapes of uncontested beauty, spirituality, and fragments of precious history unique in the world.
