This tour is guided by a master botanist. The tour is kept broadly and depending on the season there could be changes to this itinerary.

An astonishing array of plants grow in Bhutan: over 5,400 species, including 500 species of medicinal plants, some hardy species thriving even at 3,700m above. It has also 82 unique orchids and 48 unique rhododendrons species.

The tropical vegetation below 800m has forests of oak, birch, maple, magnolia and laurel. Above 2,400m altitude home to spruce, yew, and weeping cypress. Higher still grows the east Himalayan fir. At about 5,500m are low shrubs, rhododendrons, Himalayan grasses and flowering herbs.

    Simtokha Dzong

    after you were received from the airport, your guide will talk about the whole history regarding your tour. After receiving from the airport you will be going to Thimphu via chuzoom( Meeting point of the river) and to simtokha dzong.

    Tashichho Dzong (Thimpu Dzong)

    Thimphu is the capital city of Bhutan and the most happening place in the country. Following breakfast in the hotel visit the Jungshi paper factory, National Memorial Stupa, the site of the tallest Lord Buddha statue at Kuenselphodrang and Institute of traditional Art. After lunch visits the historic Changangkha temple, Mini Takin Zoo, Sangaygang viewpoint and weekend local market. In the evening visit the impressive TashiChhoe Dzong, office of the king of Bhutan and monastic residence.

    After an early breakfast venture on a four-hour drive excursion to Haa valley in the westernmost corner of Bhutan. Haa is a small yet fascinating place with a rich historical and cultural past. The drive will cut through the scenic hilly landscape, rural settlements and dense mix forest of pine and oak trees.

    Tiger Nest Hike | Paro

    Today you will visit the iconic site of Tiger Nest temple clinging on a vertical rocky cliff, 1000 meters above the valley. Following early breakfast in the hotel, you will take a short drive to the base of Taktshang. From the base, point starts hiking on a prominent trail leading through pine forest all the way up to Tiger Nest. At the midway cafeteria, you will be treated hot tea and coffee. Once inside the temple, get mesmerised by the wonders of this 8th-century landmark.
