- What to Bring: Please wear comfortable hiking clothing and sturdy walking or hiking shoes with good grip. We also recommend bringing a small backpack with at least 1 litre of water per person, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. As El Torcal de Antequera is located at over 1,200 metres (3,940 ft) above sea level, weather conditions can change quickly. During spring, autumn, and winter, temperatures are often significantly cooler than at lower elevations, so it is essential to bring warm clothing, such as a fleece or insulated jacket, and a waterproof layer in case of wind or rain. Choosing the right clothing according to the season will help ensure a safe and comfortable hiking experience.
