Next, visit the Visakha Museum, which showcases maritime history, naval artifacts, traditional items, and archival photographs that trace the evolution of Visakhapatnam from a port town to a modern naval hub.
Conclude the day with a relaxed walk along RK Beach, a lively seaside stretch dotted with sculptures, local snack stalls, and cafés. Enjoy the cool sea breeze and sunset views before returning to the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, set out on a full-day excursion through the scenic Eastern Ghats, driving past dense forests, winding mountain roads, and tribal settlements en route to the hills.
Begin with a visit to the impressive Borra Caves, one of the largest limestone cave systems in India. Explore vast underground chambers illuminated to highlight dramatic stalactite and stalagmite formations shaped over millions of years, some resembling natural sculptures and symbolic figures.
Continue towards Araku Valley, stopping at a coffee plantation where you learn about the cultivation and processing of Araku’s famous organic coffee. Walk through the plantation, understand the roasting techniques, and enjoy a freshly brewed cup amidst lush greenery.
Arrive in Araku Valley, a tranquil hill station known for its cool climate, rolling hills, waterfalls, and panoramic viewpoints. Take time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and scenic landscapes.

If time permits, stop at one of the region’s viewpoints such as Galikonda, offering expansive views of misty valleys and layered hill ranges. In the evening, drive back to Visakhapatnam.
After breakfast, visit the ancient Simhachalam Temple, a revered hilltop shrine dedicated to Lord Varaha Narasimha.
