    Memorial Highland Park (Upland) is located high above the coastal area of Baku. And you can have a wonderful view of the Bay of Baku with Seaside Boulevard, the old town Icheri Sheher, the Maiden Tower and the Shirvanshakh’s Palace.

    Baku Ferris Wheel, also known as the Baku Eye, is a Ferris wheel on Baku Boulevard in the Seaside National Park of Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. The wheel was built by the Dutch company. The wheel is 60 metres tall and has 30 cabins, each holding eight people. It makes a complete turn in 30 to 40 minutes.

    Palace of the Shirvanshahs

    The Palace of the Shirvanshahs, located in Baku, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in the 15th century by the Shirvanshah dynasty. This monument is the biggest piece of architecture under the Shirvan-Absheron branch and includes the main building, Divan Khana, The Mausoleum, The Palace Mosque and The Palace Bath-house. The construction of the palace was initiated under the rule of Ibrahim I of Shirvan dynasty.

    Nazimi Street is the most important pedestrian street in Baku.     Drive to Fire Worshippers’ Temple-(80 km from Gobustan).The most famous fire temple is the well-preserved temple Ateshgah (“the Fire Place”) in Surakhany, The temple was built over a pocket of natural gas that fuelled a vent providing an ‘eternal’ fire. This kind of use of fire in Zoroastrian temples led to the followers of Zoroaster (Zarathustra) (XVII-XVIII centuries).

    Trip to “Fire Mountain “-“Yanardag” – ( 25 km from Fire Temple) is a mountain on Absheron peninsula, 25 km from north of Baku.Literally, word “Yanardag” means “Blazing mountain”. Blazing bodies of flame dance on stones and floor. Yanar dag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, which itself is known as the “land of fire.” Flames jet into the air 3 metres (9.8 ft) from a thin, porous sandstone layer.Unlike mud volcanoes, the Yanar Dag flame burns fairly steadily, as it involves a steady seep of gas from the subsurface.

    Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center

    Heydar Aliyev Center (outside) The center of Heydar Aliyev is a cultural center built on Heydar Aliyev Avenue in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Center is a complex structure, which includes an auditorium (congress center), a museum, exhibition halls and administrative offices. It is named after the third president of Azerbaijan Republic – Heydar Aliyev. The project of the center was developed in 2007 by the architect Zaha Hadid. The cultural center of Heydar Aliyev is considered as one of the symbols of modern Baku.

    Bibi-Heybat Mosque

    Start tour with Bibi-heybat Mosque (9.5 km away from city center) which a historical mosque in Baku, Azerbaijan. The existing structure, built in the 1990s, is a recreation of the mosque with the same name built in the 13th century by Shirvanshah Farrukhzad II Ibn Ahsitan II.
