On your way to Geiranger, visit the Hornindal Lake, Norway's and Europe's deepest lake, officially measured to a depth of 514 m (1686 ft). Take a break in the town Stryn, famous for its charming streets with clothing stores and a good stop to stretch your legs. You will pass the beautiful lake of Oppstryn and take a photostop at Jostedalsbreen Nasjonalparksenter. You will also make a short photo stop at the Øvstefossen Waterfall.
After a ride over mountain roads, you’ll reach two of the most impressive highlights in Geiranger: the spectacular Djupvatn lake and the top of the famous mountain Dalsnibba at the altitude of 1500 m (4920 ft) above sea level. From Dalsnibba mountain top you will be able to see the village of Geiranger, the Eagle Bend and surrounding waterfalls. Finally, return to Hellesylt in time for your cruise ship departure.

Majestic mountain with the highest fjord view from a road. It is located at the end of the Geiranger valley, approx. 22 kilometers south of the village of Geiranger and the Geirangerfjorden.The peak has an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level. Important Information: if weather conditions are not favorable, Mt. Dalsnibba will be substituted with a different highlight that Geiranger offers.
Djupvatn Lake - photo stop. Spectacular mountain lake. It lies at an altitude of 1030 meters above sea level and is at least 188 meters deep. The lake is normally covered with ice, depending on the temperature and the season, the ice usually melts around mid of June/July.
