At 4,167m, Mount Toubkal is the highest mountain in North Africa. The hike to the summit is challenging, but it requires no mountaineering experience and the view from its summit makes the hard work worthwhile.

Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil - Toubkal Refuge:

After a transfer to the village of Imlil we begin our trek. Heading along the Maizane Valley, we first pass the village of Armed and then onto the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. We then continue our journey by crossing the floodplains.

Day 2: Toubkal Refuge - Toubkal Summit - Imlil - Marrakech:

Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in Northern Africa. Our road takes us to the south circus, crossing the stream above the refuge. The walking is relatively straightforward, but the screwy and the altitude will be quite difficult.
