Itinerary

Duration: 5 days (approximately)
    Day 1

    The Giants of Tarangire

    1 stop
  • 1
    Tarangire National Park

Your journey begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon landing, you strike out for Tarangire National Park, a landscape of ancient, silver-barked baobabs and the largest elephant herds in Africa. Track predators through the riverine thickets before retreating to Lake Burunge Tented Lodge. Set in a lush palm grove on the park’s edge, your luxury tent overlooks the shimmering waters of the lake, offering a quiet pause as the savanna settles for the night.

    8 hours Admission ticket included
  • Day 2

The Pulse of the Rift Valley

    1 stop
  • 2
    Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Today is about the rhythm of the land and its people, trading the engine's hum for the raw sounds of the wild. Step out for an intimate walking safari and biking excursion along Lake Manyara. Feel the sun-warmed earth beneath your feet as you track the movements of the wild. Along the shoreline, spot zebras, wildebeests, and waterbucks grazing in the open, while flamingos paint the water’s edge pink. Keep a keen eye for giraffes browsing the acacias and, if lucky, hippos in the shallows. Transition to the vibrant heart of Mto wa Mbu. Experience local culture via a private tuk-tuk ride, winding through emerald banana plantations and markets filled with the scent of fresh spices. The Highland Retreat: As the afternoon cools, ascend to the lush Ngorongoro Farmhouse. This colonial-style coffee plantation offers a luxury "yesteryear" atmosphere, where you can walk through fragrant gardens and watch the mist settle over the Oldeani Volcano.

    The Ocean of Grass

    1 stop
  • 3
    Serengeti National Park

We journey into the Serengeti, climbing the crater rim before descending onto the endless plains. This is the stage for the world’s greatest wildlife drama. Your destination is Nakupenda Luxury Camp, an intimate sanctuary where the canvas walls bring you closer to the wild. Spend the afternoon on a game drive, tracking the great cats as they begin their evening hunt across the gold-washed horizon.

  • Day 4

    The Shore of the Wild

    1 stop
  • 4
    Serengeti National Park

We move deeper into the Serengeti ecosystem toward the Ndutu region, arriving at Lake Masek Luxury Camp. Perched on the banks of a soda lake, this camp offers a front-row seat to the seasonal migration. The luxury here is the proximity to the water—watch from your private deck as animals gather at the shore. Spend the day exploring the woodlands and hidden valleys where leopards haunt the acacia branches.

  • Day 5

The Lost World & The Return

    1 stop
  • 5
    Ngorongoro Conservation Area

At first light, we descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a sanctuary where the morning mist clings to the emerald floor. This self-contained caldera is home to the rare black rhino, massive bull elephants, and one of the highest predator densities in Africa. A Final Wild Feast: For lunch, we pause at the Hippo Pool. Dine in the presence of these giants as they grunt and wallow in the shallows, providing a raw, high-drama backdrop for your last meal in the wilderness. The Final Traverse: After a short afternoon game drive to capture the crater's final secrets, we ascend the caldera walls and begin the journey across the highlands. The Skyward Journey: We travel to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your evening flight back to Zanzibar. As the savanna fades beneath the clouds, you return to the islands with the spirit of the wild firmly etched in your memory.
