What to expect

Treat your group to a memorable day of private rafting on the famous Colorado River! After checking in at our downtown Moab location, you will enjoy a world-class scenic drive with private transportation along Highway 128 to our launch point. After a safety talk and PFD (flotation vest) fittings, you set off downriver with your dedicated, top-notch professional guide rowing the raft. Learn about the history of the region and identify rock formations from the Colorado River. Your guide is educated in geology, flora, fauna, and human history of the area and can't wait to share with you! Wildlife sightings are common, including eagles, desert bighorn sheep, great blue herons, river otters, beavers, migratory bird species and more! This family-friendly, 11-mile section of river is characterized by calmer area for taking a dip on a hot day punctuated by class I-III rapids. Splash factor is biggest in May and June, and on the mellow side in early spring and fall. You will pull ashore along the way for a riverside picnic lunch.
