    The Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima is an iconic pilgrimage site that every Catholic must visit.     Obidos Village

    In the heart of Portugal lies the charming, fairytale village of Obidos. With its well-preserved medieval walls, cobbled streets and rich history, this picturesque village offers travellers a journey back in time. Immerse yourself in history at Obidos Castle, an amazing fortress converted into a luxury hotel. The town's narrow streets are lined with craft shops, boutiques and cafes where you can sample the local delicacy ginjinha, a sweet cherry liqueur. Soak up the city by passing through Porta da Vila and take in a cityscape that could be a film set. Stroll down Rua Direita to see houses with whitewashed walls with blue or yellow borders and bougainvillea creeping up the sides. Obidos is famous for its lively cultural events.
