The Blue Mountains is one of Australia's great natural landscapes — an ancient sandstone plateau cut by deep valleys, dramatic cliffs, cascading waterfalls and forests of blue-hazed eucalyptus stretching to the horizon.
We collect you from your Sydney hotel and head straight to the mountains. The day is fully private and shaped around your interests — whether that means a serious hike into the valleys, a gentler walk through rainforest, or a scenic drive between the best lookouts with time to linger where it deserves it.
The highlights include the Three Sisters, Bridal Veil Falls, sweeping Jamison Valley views, and quieter corners most day tours don't reach. A walk through Blue Mountains rainforest — ferns, ancient trees, birdsong — is something most visitors don't expect to find here.
Greg prepares a freshly made picnic lunch — sourdough bread, seasonal salads and something sweet — served at a scenic location chosen to suit the day.
This is a fully private tour for your group only. We’ll pick you up from your accommodation and return you at the end of the day. Alternative drop-off locations, including the airport, can be arranged — please get in touch to confirm. Alternate start times are also available. Infant & child seats available upon request.
See one of the best lookouts in the mountains. This lookout includes sweeping views of the Jamison Valley, Narrow Neck Peninsula, Mt Solitary and the world renowned three sisters. The Echo Point lookout is comprised of two levels with many points and balconies from which to observe the amazing blue hazed landscape.
To gauge the enormity of the Blue Mountains we will visit 5 different lookouts, one of which is Govetts Leap. From the Govetts Leap lookout we will appreciate the stunning sheer cliffs, sandstone escarpments, deep canyons and the dense Eucalypt forest of the Grose Valley. Bridal Veil Falls is located to our left as we look at the valley and drops 180 metres into the Grose Valley. Yes another valley and one that you will be very pleased to see!
Experience the Skyway, aerial cable car and the world's steepest incline railway at Scenic World. Upon reaching the valley floor we take a rainforest walk enjoying a wide range of eucalypt trees. You may come across the ground living lyre bird which is known for its incredible ability to mimic almost any sound, including machinery!
There are a number of great bushwalks in the Blue Mountains. We like to visit some of the out of way places. Get in touch and we will send an outline of the options available, including the walk time and difficulty of the walk.
Anvil Rock lookout offers sweeping views of the Grose Valley. We will also visit the nearby Wind eroded cave, an unusually large sandstone overhang carved by wind.
This rock configuration resembles the head of a boar. The lookout provides panoramic views of the Megalong Valley and Narrow Neck plateau.
