  Jama Masjid

  Admire the monuments of Old Delhi, such as the Mughal mosque Jama Masjid (The Friday Mosque) which is the congregational mosque of Old Delhi. It was commissioned by the fifth Mughal ruler known as Shah Jahan. Who was a noted patron of Islamic architecture whose most famous work is the Taj Mahal, in Agra.   Drive around & stop for photos at the Red Fort from outside as most of the building is acquired by the Indian Army. Therefore you see it from outside and click some pictures.

  Raj Ghat

  Next visit Raj Ghat which is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi the father of the nation there is an elementary square platform of black marble, symbolizes the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated followed by his assassination in 1948. A dedicatory ritual takes place each Friday, in his memory.

  India Gate

  Stop for photos at India Gate which is an Arc-de-Triomphe-like 140 feet high gateway that was constructed as a War Memorial in memory of the 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who lost their lives during the First World War. An eternal flame burns night and day to commemorate the brave soldiers who lost their lives fighting in the India-Pakistan War of 1971.

  Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
