A photo stop at Jal Mahal (Water Palace), built in 1699 in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Jantar Mantar (Astronomical Observatory) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734. A photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, is a five-story palace made of red and pink sandstone, designed for royal women to observe street life without being seen. Architecture: 953 small windows (Jharokhas), resembling a honeycomb. Venturi effect: Allows cool air to pass through, keeping the palace pleasant in summer.
