  Sumhuram Old City

  To the East of Taqa lies the ruin of Sumhurum (Khor Rori), The city was the easternmost outpost of the Hadramawt Kingdom on the ancient incense route between the Mediterranean Sea, Persian Gulf and India. Khor Rori was an important port on the coast of Dhofar .

  Wadi Darbat

  Continue through the mountain down to Wadi Darbat the ancient capital of Dhofar: this is one of the famous wadis among wadis Oman. there is a lovely lake which falls a 500ft vertical drop over. This is one of the world magnificent natural phenomena Existed in Oman .

  Later find out Tawi Atayr one of the world largest Sink Holes (211 m deep & 150 m in diameter), Also known as the Well of Birds�, where birds frequent this location, the year through.   Jabal Samhan
